Dante was a Wolven that lived at Spessa's End and killed by the Ascended.

Early Life

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire

During dinner at Spessa's End, Casteel Da'Neer and Alastir Davenwell argued about whether Cas was obligated to marry Gianna. When Emil attempted to delay the conversation, Dante spoke up calling Penellaphe Balfour as the one who was raised in the pit of vipers and most likely just as poisonous as the Ascended. After Poppy made it clear that she realized that she grew up in a cage only to be used by the Ascended at a future date, Dante recognized that this was a strong feat. Dante is rendered speechless after Poppy's impassioned declaration of love for Cas. When the skies lit up, Dante and Delano go investigate. As they realized that the fires were from an army of Ascended, the two turn around to raise the alarm at Spessas End. Dante was shot in the head and killed instantly. Duchess Teerman insinuated that she fed Dante's body to the horses.

Physical Description

Dante was a fair-haired wolven.

He was tenacious and had no problem voicing his displeasure about Poppy being raised by the Ascended. But Dante saluted Poppy when she confessed that she had learned the lies that the Ascended professed. However, he was fiercely loyal and died in a scouting mission.
